Received Reiki Treatments Frequently
There’s a curious thing that happens when you start to take your own wellbeing seriously: the more you tune in, the more you realise just how much noise you’ve been living with.
After my first experience with Reiki, I kept going back. Not out of obligation, but because something inside me was gently pulling me towards it – a kind of magnetic stillness I hadn’t felt in years. It wasn’t just about stress relief anymore. It was about reconnection.
By June 2019, Reiki had become a regular rhythm in my life. I started scheduling sessions not because I was in crisis, but because I finally recognised the value of prevention over cure. Each treatment felt like a deep breath for my nervous system – like someone pressing “reset” on all the invisible tabs I had open in my mind.
And let’s be clear – it wasn’t always bliss. Sometimes emotions bubbled up. Sometimes I walked out with more questions than answers. But I always walked out more grounded. I became more attuned to the subtle signals of my own body. I noticed tension earlier, caught burnout before it took hold, and began making decisions from a place of calm rather than panic.
Reiki became my anchor. A quiet hour that was wholly mine, free of judgment, expectation, or performance. It created space for reflection, and in that space, I found clarity.
It also started opening doors internally. I became more curious about energy, about healing, about what wellness actually meant beyond green smoothies and gym memberships. I began to see that wellness wasn’t something I needed to “achieve” – it was something I needed to allow.
And so I did. Session after session, I allowed. I softened. I healed. Slowly, and steadily.
Receiving Reiki frequently didn’t fix everything overnight, but it gave me something far more sustainable: resilience. A return to self. A reminder that my wellbeing isn’t a luxury – it’s a foundation.
